展会介绍：
IMTS展览会始创于1954年，已成功举办了27届。IMTS由美国机床制造技术协会（AMT）主办，该组织在世界各地30多个国家开设办事机构，拥有美国境内85%的机床制造业会员；其中45%的成员为世界机床行业的著名公司。并与多个国家的机床行业协会共享信息资源。该展览会参展面积达15万平方米，占用McCormick Place展览中心的东馆、北馆及南馆。来自世界50多个国家的1200多家展商参展将会聚于此。据展览当局发布的信息获知，将有来自80个国家的8万余名的机床制造商、代理商、营销商、采购商等专业人士到会签约洽谈贸易。约有28个国家将派政府采购团及贸易代表团参观展览会。该展览会名副其实地成为世界机床行业第一大展。
